1. This entire week was a blur!!! In my head it’s split up into BTE and ATE – Before the Election and After the Election. Why did we not think the election would go on for DAYS with the way 2020 has been going?! Thankful to be on the other side of it FINALLY. Also, we VOTED!!
  2. …and then spent election night with B+L drinking margaritas, playing Cards Against Humanity and laughing the stress away. It only kind of worked.
  3. I started and finished reading We Were Liars by E. Lockhart this week and I honestly can’t recommend it enough. This book was 85% confusing, but once it started to make sense I couldn’t stop raving about it!! I haven’t been really wow’ed by a book in a while, and this one just blew me away. So, so good.
  4. The weather this week was amazing. It felt like summer in November and I was totally here for it. Although, I had absolutely no idea or what to wear. A total change-up from last weeks 40 degrees…
  5. I’ve watched this TikTok 20 times and I still can’t stop laughing. The brown towel is so spot on!! Also this one. πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚
  6. I loved reading the letter that George H.W. Bush left in the Oval Office for Bill Clinton that was circulating Instagram this week. Such a class act and definitely made me emotional reading it.
  7. We had dinner with our hometown TCT crew on Friday night and it was the best. There is nothing better than a night full of good food and good wine with the people who just make things easy. So thankful for lifelong friends. The best.
  8. Saturday was the most surreal day and one I know I’ll remember for the rest of my life. Being in Brooklyn when Joe Biden was announced the President-Elect was UNreal. The horns honking in the street all day long, music playing, people dancing and singing on every street corner, the cheering, crying and overall feelings of hope and excitement in the air. It was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced in my life. ‘Twas a very good day to be a New Yorker.
  9. Ugh, I am crushed by the news of Alex Trebek’s passing this morning. As big-time Jeopardy! fans, I don’t know how the show will ever be the same without him. His very last episode is set to air on Christmas Day – and you betcha I’ll be watching, and probably crying, too. So sad!!
  10. Ry and I have a new favorite tradition. The last two weeks we’ve stopped for coffee and walked 2+ miles to a specific bagel store in Brooklyn for everything Flagels with jalapeΓ±o cream cheese. And let me tell you, we talked about those bagels ALL WEEK and looked forward to our Sunday morning walk until it was time to go this morning. It’s already one of my favorite weekly rituals!! Cheers to Sunday bagels.

sending you the biggest hugs, and the most love
