1. Can’t believe Sunday Morning Musings is 30 weeks old! This year is seriously just flying by.
  2. I made a couple loaves of banana bread this week and the smell of them baking in the house was an immediate flashback to March and baking banana bread like every week. I wonder if the smell of banana bread will remind me of this weird time in our lives forever?
  3. Got these socks at Costco a few weeks ago and they are bringing on allllll the cozy. Nothing makes me happier than putting these on to hang around the house all day. They’re soft and so warm and the perfect comfy socks for the long winter ahead.
  4. Finally went to the dentist this week after dreading the appointment for the last two months. I love my dentist, but every time I’m due for an appointment I get a pit in my stomach for the entire day. Happy to report that it wasn’t nearly as bad as I was thinking it would be. So here’s your reminder to make your dentist appointment and stop putting if off.
  5. Favorite TikTok of the week – this one was too real. πŸ˜‚
  6. How many of you guys have voted already?! I am dropping off my absentee ballot on Election Day since our polling place is right down the block. I feel like majority of the country has already voted!
  7. Downloaded my favorite Christmas app again this weekend. It’s officially ON and this is the best way to keep track of everything – ideas, things you order, wrap and ship out! I would seriously be a mess without this little app every year. Highly recommend! What do you guys do to keep track of your gift list?
  8. Celebrated Kiki’s birthday this weekend with brunch and beer! It was certainly a Halloween unlike any other, but so happy we still got to celebrate. Here’s to hoping next year is back to regularly scheduled programming.
  9. Speaking of Halloween…candy corn… yay or nay? 🍬
  10. Also, is it just me or did today feel like the longest day EVER?! Just one, measly extra hour and I feel like I accomplished the world and still had time to have a relaxing Sunday. Is a 25-hour-day the answer to it all? Something to think about perhaps…

sending you hugs!

with love, jak
