1. What Kind of Friend Are You, According to Meyers-Briggs. This article absolutely nailed it for me. How about you?
  2. I did a thing this week and bought a new lens for my camera. I have to say there seriously is nothing more exciting than getting new camera gear. I geek out over it so hard!!! Lately I’ve been feeling really inspired to make some ART. So stay tuned for some of that in the next few weeks 📸
  3. Two TikToks that had me laughing out loud this week. Here and here. Too freakin’ good.
  4. It’s getting so dark so early already!!! Couldn’t even believe it this week when it was legitimately nighttime outside at like 6:30! The biggest downside to this time of the year.
  5. Loved this piece on COJ about being someone’s “Bodega Santa” – Ryan and I are definitely this for each other and different times and it really is the best.
  6. I read my first Agatha Christie novel (And Then There Were None) this week and have so many feelings about it! While I loved it, I do kind of feel like I got cheated. Don’t want to give too much away to anyone else who may read it, but if you HAVE read it, you probably know exactly what I’m referring to. Don’t get me wrong, I couldn’t put it down, but the plot twist (if you can call it that?!) felt a little cheap to me.
  7. A guide to the best, and most stylish face masks. Just 2020 things. SIIIIIGH.
  8. Do you guys have a “gateway drug” snack? Mine is pita chips/tortilla chips. I have been craving them all week but know that the minute one passes my lips, I am done for. After I’ve eaten them, any and all other food is fair game and any hope of dieting is out the window.
  9. Met our fur-nephew on Friday and he is THE CUTEST thing ever. It feels so good to have a pup in my life again.
  10. We hiked in the Catskills this weekend! We drove up early Saturday morning and met Kevin for a 4.6 mile hike. It was without a doubt the most exhausting experience, but it was so worth it. I took approximately one million photos with my new lens and it was goooorgeous. Petition to rent a house upstate for the entirety of next fall? Yes please.

with love, JAK
