1. We lost our sweet boy Dudley this week, and every day since has been a blur. We’re going through the motions over here and trying to look on the bright side, but man, it hurts. So happy for my boy, and so sad for us. In the last pictures of him I took, he had a rainbow all over his face and I just know his thing is going to be rainbows. I’ve been seeing them everywhere I look. And the one day we hadn’t seen one? This one (^) showed up in the mail.
  2. I planted a bunch of pepper and herb seeds in peat pellets. Something that was/is completely foreign to me, but I’m excited to watch them grow! When did I become a gardener…?
  3. Don’t judge me, but I’ve been genuinely contemplating buying a Nintendo Switch so I can play Animal Crossings and I’m embarrassed. I’m not a video game player and haven’t played in probably 15 years, but something about that game feels so nostalgic that I might not be able to resist.
  4. I’m re-reading Daisy Jones & The Six and I have to say I think it’s one of my favorite books of all time. I tried to start it last week, and actually got NERVOUS to read the first chapter because I loved it so much the first time around. And I’m just gonna say that my second read is not disappointing me in the slightest.
  5. We finally finished Stranger Things 3 this week, and although I thought this season was amazing, I was kind of underwhelmed by the finale?! Did anyone else feel that way?
  6. I’m stressing myself out over re-starting the sourdough. I know what I really need to do is just DO IT. But I feel like I have so much to learn before I do!! And if you haven’t noticed, flour is a hot commodity these days. However, these sourdough discard crackers might be just the motivation I need.
  7. My birthday is on Wednesday and for the first time in my life I actually don’t have birthday anxiety. One benefit of this whole nightmare I guess.
  8. Really enjoyed this article and seeing what “Life in Quarantine” looks like for other people. It’s oddly settling to see that we are all trying to figure out life in this new “normal.”

Hope you guys are hanging in this week. Sending love x
