a summer 2020 bucket list
If you’re thinking to yourself “what do you put on your summer bucket list at a time like this,” YA so am I. The truth is I really don’t know what to put on a bucket list for a summer that will probably (and hopefully…) be unlike any other summer we’ve ever lived before or will live in the future. But I made one anyway because it’s nice to have some things to look forward to. And feeling some sort of accomplishment at crossing them off!
*** if permitted ββ *womp womp*
- most importantly, keep up the blog!
- shoot 5 rolls of film (and actually get my old film developed)
- make homemade ice cream with a Milkmade recipe (no I didn’t do it, even after I swore I would in my Sunday post)
- see a drive-in movie!
- go to Fire Island WITH MY FRIENDS***
- read everything on my summer reading list
- eat a lobster roll in Maine*** but can settle for out east
- go for a bike ride to the water
- find my perfect rosΓ©
- start and actually finish a tv show
- list some more anklet sets on my Etsy shop
- perfect my lemon drop martini recipe
- kayak on Lake Mohawk (!)
- go peach or berry picking and make something delicious with them
- like these grilled peaches with vanilla ice cream
- finally hang up the art I’ve been collecting for our living room
- have an ice cold House beer at our favorite outdoor “bar” in Brooklyn***
- picnic in Prospect Park
So yes, this summer will probably be different. Even if things go back to somewhat normal, it will still be different and (I guessssss) that’s okay. We can still make the most of it. I’m sure we won’t get to everything on this list, but we can try anyway!
Did I miss anything? Tell me what’s on your to-do-list for this summer!
YES TO ALL!!! π₯°
