1. Ah, if only every weekend were a three day weekend! Not only was having the day off on Monday the best, but the first day back to work already being Tuesday was just absolute bliss.
  2. If any of you guys read blogs other than mine, and don’t already use Bloglovin‘ you are missing out! I’ve been using it for years – it’s the only place I’m able to keep track of all of the blogs I read and mark off new posts as I read them. It’s also great for giving you an overview of what new posts went up, and deciding whether or not it’s something you’re interested in reading. I just added my blog last week, come and find me there!

  4. Are you also dreaming of a Giant Diner Breakfast? I am. And even if I hadn’t been, I certainly would be after reading this. I have always had a weak spot for a good diner and now I can’t wait to get myself to Greenport.
  5. Have you guys been getting take-out from places? We have and probably wouldn’t have survived the last three months without it. Pizza is in our weekly rotation, as is the occasional burrito bowl, Se-Port run and curbside pick-up from our favorite restaurant. What are the best things you’ve been ordering?
  6. I’ve been reading Beach Read for book club this week, and I have been grinning from ear to freakin’ ear reading it. It’s cute and (mostly) light-hearted and probably one of the most enjoyable books I’ve read so far this year. Haven’t finished yet, but hoping the end is just as good!
  7. Saturday was such a good day. The weather was perfect and we spent almost the entire day in the backyard, in and out of the pool, playing beer ball (I was pretty terrible) and eating dinner al fresco. The whole day made me think of this song by Ben Rector.
  8. One of the best things to happen for me in quarantine was finally perfecting my actual 5 minute makeup routine. Concealer, brows and cream blush are just about all the effort I’ve been putting in these days and I’ve been loving it.
  9. Did you watch the SpaceX astronaut launch?! Ry and I did and I didn’t understand anything that was happening, but it was amazing to watch! I’ve been peeking in on their Twitter every few hours and am just fascinated by the whole thing.
  10. And lastly…the world has more than enough problems without us being hateful towards one another. It’s falling apart and we need to start putting it back together – and so much better than it was before. This is what I can make sense of right now. We all need to do better.
