sunday morning musings (003)
- If you ever break or fracture your sesamoid bone, literally good luck. Back in yet another cast, for another 2-3 weeks and honestly can’t even believe I am still dealing with this.
- Absolutely adored this post about the soundtrack of your life. It’s funny because I have actually been finding comfort in listening to Fall Out Boy, and I think it’s the nostalgia of being a teenager that’s been getting to me lately. What would you consider the soundtrack to your life – I’m so interested in this!
- NY Magazine has been blowing me away with their content these last few weeks. Subscribing was one of the best things I did for myself last year. I’ve been picking up my copy in the mail box on every trip in to Brooklyn and I can’t recommend it enough. This video of NYC gave me chills all over.
- We had an absolutely INSANE thunderstorm here this week – complete with hail (?!?) Genuinely haven’t seen a storm like that in years. It was kind of thrilling, but also kind of scary!
- I had the best worst birthday ever. My friends and family made me feel so incredibly special and it was certainly a birthday I will never forget. Feeling so thankful for the people in my life.
- I’ve been very slowly telling people about this little blog, and am totally geeking out over the analytics and watching the page views go up every day. And seeing which posts you guys have read the most! I also can see that I have one reader from Switzerland and one from Norway – which like, I cannot imagine what brought you here, but happy to have you! How cool?!
- Yesterday we did a drive by at my grandma’s to wave and drop off some groceries, and it was the sweetest but also so surreal. The last real event we went to was a birthday party at her house for my uncle and I just can’t wrap my head around all that has happened in a month and a half.
- Also, can we all cross our fingers for some more sun!? The forecast for next week is looking very…wet, and I am over it!
- Earlier this week Ry brought up seeing this article and the idea that the outcome of this years Super Bowl could have saved thousands of people from getting COVID!? Literally mind blowing to think about!!
- Finally caved this week and had a socially-distant hangout with the girls. And by socially-distant-hangout, I mean we all brought beach chairs to Missy’s house, sat 6+ feet apart on her front lawn and whined about all the things we wish we could do. And guess what? It was the best.
Sending love and hopes of sunshine for this week!
